Hi we’re Jana and Andy !
We actually know each other for a very long time. 13 years ago Jana’s cousin and Andy’s brother became a couple, so we met a few times on family reunions. But our life’s were completely different at that time, so we didn’t really recognise each other. We lived in two cities hundreds of kilometers apart and had completely opposite plans for our life’s. Jana wanted to study International Business, which also meant going abroad for a longer time. Meanwhile, Andy had his life in Paderborn with a full-time job, apartment and plans to settle down. Until 2013, when holidays with family and friends in Spain brought us closer together. We didn’t know how to manage everything, the distance, the study, working full-time and all the uncertainties weve been thinking about. But we already knew at that time that we at least wanted to give it a chance. 5 years later we travel the world together and have successfully handled a weekend relationship and separation across borders. It wasn’t easy at all, but maybe we can inspire you just to try it. No matter what it is – a journey, a relationship, the next step or changing things. Because you can only now if it works or not, when you try it. 🙂
Hi, my name is Jana and I was born and raised in Kazakhstan until my parents moved to Germany when I was 2. I studied International Business and lived and worked in Spain for the last 1 ½ years. I fell in love with the spanish temperament, the tapas and the relaxed and open-minded attitude of the people. During this time I got and even greater desire to travel the world and live an inspired globetrotter life.
Hey, my name is Andy and I grew up in Russia until I was 6 years old. My home base is Paderborn, a small town in the middle west of Germany. I spent the most time of my life there, went to school and worked over 10 years in a full-time job. I have travelled a lot for my job, but I never really thought about a world trip. Until the feeling came so strong to escape the 9 to 5 life. The time was perfect, because we had to choose between Spain, Germany or another option. We choose the other option and are now traveling the world together.
